on the met gala:

After looking through all the pictures from the Met Gala last night, it truly is the Age of Punk. Fashion as an art form truly gave up during that whole Military inspired look / cuts “revolution” of the past 5 years. But now, fashion is waking up and has stopped the emulation. I feel as if people like Riccardo Tisci are inspiring an entirely new trend, and the Met Gala totally put all of that in the forefront with the huge amount of starpower they can command. Holy shit, I am so excited for the next decade of design.
