Impromptu photo shoot with Andrew Lowry, my coworker at Swift & Finch and very talented photographer.
Whenever I buy a blazer or sport jacket, I always go down a size. While this might seem obvious to some fashionistos, it’s still a fairly underrated practice. Tom Ford, suit maker extraordinaire, is leading the way in making suits that are supposed to fit the modern man. He’s made the Bond suits, for crying out loud! Well anyways, Tom Ford’s suits usually fit more snug and tight with sleeves that end right before the wrist and a perfect middle button. While my blazer isn’t Tom Ford - it’s vintage Clocktower, which was a local bespoke shop that closed down a few years ago - it’s still a size below me, and fits perfectly. And it was 5 bucks, plus 4 bucks for the vintage Brooks Brothers chambray. If you’re gonna try and walk on waterMake sure you wear your comfortable shoes
