Whenever I buy a blazer or sport jacket, I always go down a size. While this might seem obvious to some fashionistos, it’s still a fairly underrated practice. Tom Ford, suit maker extraordinaire, is leading the way in making suits that are supposed to fit the modern man. He’s made the Bond suits, for crying out loud! Well anyways, Tom Ford’s suits usually fit more snug and tight with sleeves that end right before the wrist and a perfect middle button. While my blazer isn’t Tom Ford - it’s vintage Clocktower, which was a local bespoke shop that closed down a few years ago - it’s still a size below me, and fits perfectly. And it was 5 bucks, plus 4 bucks for the vintage Brooks Brothers chambray.

The Sartorialist studio is seeking a full-time personal assistant for Scott Schuman.
Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work within an extremely fast-paced, collaborative, small studio environment.
Administrative Responsibilities:
-Handle all email communications on behalf of Scott Schuman
-Schedule appointments, interviews, conference calls, and meetings
-Manage extensive domestic and foreign travel arrangements, including Fashion Week travel and show requests
-Liaise with accountant on studio financials and invoices
-Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; follow through on issues in a timely manner
-Oversee projects from inception to completionStudio Responsibilities:
-Manage imagery and inventory
-Maintain photographic equipment
-Miscellaneous studio organizationThis position also offers the opportunity to become involved in digital advertising.
Experience with Google Analytics, DoubleClick DART For Publishers (DFP), and/or OpenX will be viewed as an asset.Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Extremely organized and quick learner
